    Default Beware of ball-dominant, non-shooters..

    Sub-par or non-elite midrange and 3-point shooters like Westbrook/Lebron

    yield weaker teams than

goat 3-point or midrange shooters Curry/MJ

because Curry/MJ's shooting ability allowed them to play off teammates/off-ball, which facilitates ball movement and better brand of ball/teams

Why did Danillo Gallinari play so bad in the playoffs then?

Curry had to recruit Durant to beat Lebron

OP has WILT CHAMBERLAIN as the 2nd best player ever.

The MOST BALL DOMINANT, NON-SHOOTER EVER...as the 2nd best behind MJ.

    OP explain this?

    ^^^ Not true

And Wilt rules - it took literally a 10-HOF team to beat him

Russell's casts had 8-9 HOF's - when Shannon Sharpe said that the other day, I had to look it up to verify

    Then there's the stats...

Sorry buddy, Wilt was routinely taking 30-40 or more shots A GAME and couldn't make shit outside the paint.

Despite the volume, his efficiency was elite for that time of zero spacing/no 3-point line and the paint was sized smaller

Look at Wilt's body-type - he has the bow-legs like a Dwight Howard, Lebron, Michael

Wilt was a rich man's Dwight Howard athletically, combined with the finesse and play-finishing ability of a rich man's Anthony Davis

Ball dominant, non-shooter...2nd best of all time.

Sounds like the "caricature" of Lebron that you criticize more than anything in your 20,000+ posts.

    Ha

That actually shows his athletic superiority - there was a defender in between him and the basket for all those finger rolls

The only way you can execute a stand-still/vert finger roll without beating the defender via a move (basically finger-rolling over and thru the defender) is to be vastly athletically superior

I used to do the Wilt finger roll over weaker dudes all the time... But only weaker dudes

    .
Lebron or Westbrook don't have the touch to make this shot

They also wouldn't score so quickly - they'd catch the ball and start dribbling - they wouldn't have the instinct/skill/footwork to know which direction to turn and get the "easy" open shot

Ultimately, the inability to shoot jumpers at an elite level prevents lebron from playing off teammates/off-ball, which would facilitate ball movement and better brand of ball/teams

Ha. These days you so much breathe on a guy going to the hole, especially a superstar like Lebron, and it's a flagrant. Back in the day if you tried to embarrass someone by going strong to the basket and you'd be lucky to get a common foul if they laid you out on your back. Simple self preservation by Wilt
