I think great pass first PG's with EPIC VISION are like the top NFL QB's. They are BORN and gifted in those facets. So at 6'9, Magic's BEST POSITION was PG! He was born to play the position and it wasn't a gimmick at all! Not only did he have EPIC VISION, he had the Globetrotter style with his passes as well. And in the open court, he covered so much ground running the break because he was 6'9.

If the defensive player had his head down for a second, Magic capitalized off of it.

If his teammate had a small angle on his defender, Magic capitalized off of it.

Magic could create for others unlike any other player.

When Magic would get a rebound or steal it was the best defensive to offensive play ever in the game. Not only getting a layup out of it but allowed him to pick which teammate he wanted to get going.

95% of those passes are total flow passes created by Magic deceiving the offense. Total flow means the scorer didn't have to break stride and barely did more than lift from waist up (except Worthy who liked to gather himself).
