Default Westbrook is not to blame for OKC missing playoffs.

i see a lot of thread blaming him

    1.Westbrook was #1 in scoring,#4 in assists,#2 in steals,

    2.KD missed 57 games,Ibaka 23 games,Westbrook 16 games.

3.He was the player of the month for febuary and march.

4.he had a terrible supporting cast...with two of the WORST defenders in the league Kanter and Morrow getting major minutes.

ESPN summed it up best "He did all he could"

Don't worry about the haters man. They live sad lives. Westbrook had a historical season for a point guard.

Agreed. When Lebron and Rose had all those great records and were "doing it alone", they had great defensive teams around them. OKC had a terrible defensive team outside of a couple guys. And the couple of guys that could play D, could not score

If the Thunder could hold teams under 100? They could have won 50 easily.

Oh really? The guy that loses putting up 50 point near triple doubles isn't to blame?

Gotta realize though, he also missed a bunch of games early in the season. He played 67 games, went 40-27 in them (including 27-17 when Durant was out). That's good enough for 49/50 wins respectively. A guy who can win 50 games on a roster missing Durant, Ibaka, and other minor injuries throughout is not someone putting up empty stats.

Despite the fact that he is extremely talented and plays with such a competitive fire that is almost otherworldly, the problem is that Russ is just not a smart basketball player...especially down the stretch. He plays pinhead hero ball and jacks up tough contested shot after tough contested shot when he has a wide open Anthony Morrow in the corner for a 3. Its just not efficient basketball. I supposed Scott Brooks is more to blame here though, because he really doesn't run any offensive sets and everything just turns into ISO Russ.
