Default What was the weakest Western Conference Playoffs after 1999?

I always felt that the 2003 Western Conference were weak. There was really no other team to face the Spurs, the 50-32 Lakers were clearly exhausted after a 3-peat and lacked A LOT of depth and solid play from their bench players.

    West:

    2003 Champions Spurs

2003 Mavs with Nash & Finley & Dirk & Van Exel

    2003 Three time champions Lakers

2003 Sacramento kings (nearly same roster than 2002, lost in 7 vs Dallas)

also phoenix had a good team (lost in 1st round 4-2 vs spurs, they had amare, marion, marbury, joe johnson, anfernee hardaway...., and dont forget kevin Garnett wolves...

    2003.

    Webber injured.

    Dirk injured.

    Lakers <<< previous years.

    One man Wolves.

Spurs were good but not as talented as other years.

Basically a bunch of 50 win teams accounting for injuries besides SA.
