James Harden's last 3 games without Dwight
31 ppg
6 apg
6 rpg
2 spg
51% shooting
54% 3pt shooting
90% FT shooting
Seeing this leads me to ask the question, is Harden better without Dwight? The team may not be, but perhaps Harden is. Or perhaps he just snapped out of his season long slump.

Wanna know whats even more amazing about those stats?
Here are the mpg played over the last three games:
Tarik Black (UDFA) - 21.9 mpg
Kostas Papanikolaou (48th overall pick) - 32.2 mpg
Donatas Motiejunas (15mpg last season) - 29.2 mpg
Harden is putting up those numbers, playing along side those players.

People were being idiots when they were harping on his fg%. Anyone who knew anything knew it was going to go up as the season went on. As far as being better without Dwight...no, he's not. He wasn't shooting well from 3pt land (and in general) up until recently and Dwight has no effect on that. He was just in a slump.

He's just had a stretch of good games, that's what all-stars do.

I mean I would imagine that playing with Dwight really throws you out of your groove, he clogs up the paint and his only offense is clumsy postup attempts to overpower the other team's center.

Kobe had one of his best offensive seasons playing next to him
Only problem I ever had with him was his FT shooting in crunch time...dude was so bad and cost us a lot of close games. Other than that, he's a great rim protector.
He tries to play like Shaq, but he doesn't have the size/weight advantage over his man like Diesel did.

It's amazing how losing Lin and Parsons has transformed this team defensively. Aria is a really good defender, but not enough to transform this team.
Lin, and Parsons especially, might have been much worse defensively than we realized within a team schematic.
Every time I watch Ariza play for the Rockets...I think that we could have signed him, Carter, and Blair for the price of Parsons....with a little left over.
We'd have a top 3 offense and a top 8 defense with those guys back.
Parsons really has to start playing a lot better....because at this point it seems like he wasn't helping the Rockets much and he certainly hasn't made the Mavs any better than Carter did last year.

lin was a turnover waiting to happen with putrid defense.

Parsons is one of those guys clearly out to get his. Playing for the contract, not the team. And he succeeded.
