So obviously, if they used the same backboard then Joey Dorsey has no chance of breaking that backboard. Not even a piano managed to break the backboard.

After the game, Dorsey was asked how much he weighs, and he said 275 pounds.

I'm not sure if the backboard was defective or not, since they are supposed to handle up to 400 pounds.

FYI they can handle way more than 400 pounds of force. They tied a piano to the rim and dropped it and the piano bent the rim before it broke the glass. Sounds like a defective rim. Impressive though.
