Lavine needs to show something on defense, right now he is making Steve Nash look like Gary Payton, he is easily the worst defensive PG in the league. No excuses, he needs to hustle and stop saving himself for offense. Effort would immediately make him a mediocre defender.

His defense has been great lately go figure. Flip Saunders was a genius in picking him. When he selected him in the draft, he reached in his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper with his name on it and gave it to him. He still has that piece of paper in his room.
