Default East Double Teaming Duncan?

Anyone else think it was strange that in the 4th quarter of the All-Star game the East was double teaming Duncan instead of Paul, Dirk or Amare? Considering Duncan is known for being a great passer out of the double team and he was surrounded by all shooters.

There were just doubling the paint
If Amare came in with the ball im sure they would have doubled

double teaming Paul is pretty disastrous, Amare didn't ever have the ball long enough to be double teamed, and Dirk wasn't worth guarding. Not too surprising.

The East had gone small and LeBron was defending Duncan, so in that situation doubling him was not a bad idea

yeah pretty much everybody backing down into the paint was getting doubled by the east, Carmelo was doubled a lot, Duncan a lot, Stoudemire a lot, pretty much all of the western forwards got doubled.

Because with him getting doubled and creating open shots, it was the smart thing to do.
