I know people will play the "Lakers got a draft pick out of it though" card but Bledsoe could have been a game changer instantly and in the future given his age.

eh, you can still sign a big name FA in 2 years while having another 10+ million contract on your roster. the lakers will have a shit load of capspace once kobe comes off the books, but theyll still have trouble attracting stars if their team is lacking.

Bledsoe/PG would be so sick..lesser version of Westbrook/Durant but with far better coaching. That would put you guys back in the finals conversation.

I've said before and I repeat: Lakers should've signed this guy. Randle + Bledsoe + the fact it's LA would be a great way to attract and sign FA's. No one will want to play with Swaggy P.

We might even resign him for less than the max because of this.
Or, he'll play for the qualifying offer and take his chances of being an unrestricted free agent next year, when he'll get max offers as teams won't be weary of Phoenix matching.
