A.I crossing up Jordan was iconic, because it showed how the new generation was about to take over. Truthfully, it wasn't some epic play since MJ almost recovered to block the shot.

Kobe's alley pop to Shaq was pretty overrated IMO.

Pretty much all of LeBron's career is 'overrated'

ESPN saw a young 17 year old kid with insane physical genetics and decided he was the next MJ when he was a Junior in High School.

Guys like Kobe actually earned their hype with hard work and performance.

LeBron was literally hyped like Michael Jordan before he stepped foot onto an NBA court. Why? Because he was bigger, stronger, faster, and could jump higher than his peers. MUST BE MJ!

But no. Not even remotely close. 20 points on 30% shooting is not MJ. 17 ppg is not MJ. 8 points in a finals game IS NOT MJ!

He has done nothing remotely memorable or iconic. He has no signature moments other than him choking, colluding with superstars, leaving his home state, and talking up to the media. That's it. Oh, and flopping.

LeBron is one big hype machine that ESPN cannot afford to lose out on. They have brainwashed too many young kids into thinking he's an all-time great so there is no turning back.
