Davis has started to inform teams of decision to sign with Clippers, and Clips are proceeding with knowledge that he's coming, sources said.

It all makes sense, Davis is a proven veteran who can get them quality minutes off the bench regardless of his size. Clips has been lacking a 3rd wheel big man that they can go whenever Jordan or Griffin get into foul trouble. Davis can create his own shots far better than Hollins.

Clippers need a back up Center more than they need an undersize PF. With Blake soaking up 40 mins a game in the playoffs I don't see where Davis fits in unless they're going to play a front court of Davis and Blake.

Nice another big body to bring to battle in the Wild Wild West. I think Doc could even experiment with playing him at the 4 and BG at the 3 or vice versa. Go ultra big.
