Gloves in basketball???

I actually had a pair of "Dr J's Hot Hands" back in the day. The fingers were cut around the first or second knuckle so you had fingertip control of the ball.

If they were game legal and a lil bit cheaper ($20 in '91) they probably would have taken off.

Would interfere with your shot too much. I personally like wearing sports tape on my fingers though, gives me a little more 'grip' so to speak when the ball is slick. Originally is started taping my fingers up cause they get sprained but started liking the way it helped me keep certain fingers together on jump shots.

As a kid , shoveling off the playground court , and playing in gloves , thanx for the memory..
If I recall only close shots could be taken , because of them.

Do you ever think some type of glove will be created that will assist in basketball performance? More grip could lead to easier dunks for the smaller hands people? I'm about to start a new trend and show up to hoop courts with some football gloves on palming the rock with ease

No but players will be caught cheating with mini propolsion springs in their shoes as well as glued tip waxtips for better ball grip.

somebody recommend me some good gloves that would work in basketball. it's getting cold here in nyc and i still wanna ball outdoors (basically because of my best buddies still wants to ball outdoors). i am skinny so i get cold pretty easily
