NBA team-by-team needs! For 2011-12 season
Today is the perfect day to begin an NBA team-by-team needs topic.
What does your favorite team need to do in upcoming free agency and the very brief "off-season" to take the next step in 2011-12?
Be specific, and try to share interesting thoughts along with your answer!

Minneosta Timberwolves Need: Defensive 7 Foot Center, and some veterans at 2 guard position.

I'm going to be very specific;
The Spurs need to get rid of Richard Jeffeson. He didn't fit.

Darko Milicic? He fits that description excellently.

For the Heat, I'd like to see them chase a legit Big-Man or a backup scorer that could instantly drop some points.
Here's the lineup at the moment:
Chalmers
Wade
LeBron
Bosh
Anthony
Last year, we though Miller could fill the scoring void, and Haslem could help out as well. That proved out to be wrong. We need a LEGIT scoring option to come off the bench. Someone that could give you 10 points a night easily. However, I'm not even sure we'd able to sign anyone like that.
Anyway, who's out there on the big man market? Dalembert, Chandler, Gasol. Who else?

I guess I'll chime in for the Lakers, they need a starting pg to replace fisher in the backcourt.
Realistically:
Jarrett Jack - good iq, great defender, good shooter
Kyle Lowry - good iq, high ast/to ratio, tough as nails, penetrate at will
Kirk Hinrich - good iq, great defender, good shooter, tough as nails
Superstar:
Chris Paul - guy plays fantastic alongside Kobe in ASGs and Olympics
Low risk, high reward:
OJ Mayo - a lot of people have given up on him, but I see how he plays, kid has game, just needs someone like Kobe to guide him
Brandon Jennings - stock is falling, can get him for cheap, he'll up his game in LA and could be our next superstar after Kobe retires
Other than that, they'll need to work on offensive plays because I don't want to see Mike Brown Cleveland isos again. To get one of the above PGs, they should also try and shed Luke Walton's contract and offer any players outside of their core of Kobe/Gasol/Odom.

Didn't T-Mac say he was finally healthy? If he signs with the Heat, goes off and gets his ring, .

Knicks need a solid center who can defend and rebound.
They also need a knock down 3-pt shooter and a few solid bench players.

Heat
Cut the oldies(Bibby, Howard, Dampier, Magloire, and House). Bring in new younger legs, specifically at the center position. Dalembert is a realistic option. Nene is a possibility if he accepts lesser pay, lesser touches, and is willing to play defense. We also have Pittman, albeit in development process. I would really like to see how much his game improved. Add long distance shooters who can defend. Shane Battier would be a steal. He has high bball IQ. Plays tough defense, and is a great teammate.

Re: NBA team-by-team needs! For 2011-12 season
Clippers only glaring weaknesses.
1. A SF. Our SF rotation is crap.
2. Outside shooting. We need more capable outside threats.
3. Our depth seems like an issue but if we are 100 percent healthy we are a pretty deep team.
