I actually think Felton could be really good for us in a limited 15 or so minutes a game.

Would be a nice guy to come in and add scoring/depth at either guard position.

Incorrect. Jameer was an all star that year and was balling out. He wasn't even supposed to play in the finals he didn't have any time to get back into shape. It was stupid that he tried to play.

no...not at all.

i'm going off reports that we think he's going to be our starter. that is what scares the shit out of me.

also, i never said he would be an upgrade over Calderon. I said Harris at 30 minutes a game and Felton at 20 minutes a games....is honestly just not that different than Calderon at 30 and Harris at 20.

Which has been exactly my point the entire time.

I just didn't realize that the Mavs actually were entertaining playing him starer level minutes. I listened to Cuban talk about him yesterday and the way he talked about Felton made me worried we actually think we can rely on him to start.

I've said from the beginning that in roughly 20 minutes a game he'd be great. Also, I thought we'd have Vince Carter as a our backup sg at the time as well...or at least some sg (we don't have one at this point).

Never did I think Felton was going to be great as our starting pg or first guard off the bench playing the most minutes.

Would be a great addition. He's a very good shooter and used to be pretty clutch (probably he can be again as he should be more motivated). Mavs looking good. Happy for Dirk

would do so much for this team. allow Harris to play an amount of minutes he's more comfortable with.

allow Felton to play that 15 to 20 minutes as a heat check type guy in a pseudo Barea role. we have depth at guard to deal with injuries as well.

really hope this happens.
