    Default Passive-agressive Behavior

How much of this do you guys encounter in your day-to-day lives? I find this to be among the most annoying traits a person can have.

I'm pretty quick to notice and identify it, and call people out for it directly and let them know that they can talk to me directly about shit they are unhappy with. So, I don't deal with it much on a daily basis.

At my uni when I'm in lectures I hang with a group of 7. 6 of those 7 don't like the last guy to varying degrees but none of them tell him to go away. I personally don't mind him, I think he's ok so I usually end up sitting by him. Is that passive-aggressive or just two faced on their part?

Most women are like that either way.

If they are just sitting away from him to avoid him, it is passive. If they are doing it trying to send him a hint, then it is passive-aggressive.

I just block it out. I really don't care for it, I just pretend like it isn't happening and go about my day. Saves a lot of energy compared to trying to wade through the BS of superficial social interactions.

Yep, that is the only thing I encounter in the office.

When my girl does it to me it gets on my nerves more than anything. I told her I would leave her if she would have continued. It's something I can't stand.

Generally, it is indirectly letting somebody know you are disappointed in them. An easy example is when somebody is pissed with their partner and they slam kitchen cupboards harder than usual so the other person knows that they are pissed. Another example is not being genuine, such as going "Ok, fine, go on your trip." In the 2nd example, the person is being passive by telling the person they approve of the trip, but using a tone of voice that is indicating that they are unhappy with it.
