Rebounding is more important to a SG than assists and scoring? Oh, Brian.

Yeah because Oscar has always had the talent around him to compete for a title. Pretty much the very first season with another great player and he wins a ship. And he was on the backside of his career yet still was putting up 24/5/10 in the finals. His ship count doesn't determine his greatness.

Dr J. won his ONE and ONLY NBA ring with a dominant Moses Malone holding down the middle.
And he was leading the Sixers deep into playoffs season after season prior to Moses coming along.

Add Magic to the list of players who never won anything without a dominant big (Kareem again).
Yes, cause in 87 and 88 it was a 39 and 40 Kareem that was carrying that team right? And a reminder, Magic was carrying that team into the finals in 91 without Kareem.

You want to talk about being blessed with the best/most dominant frontcourts? Larry Bird had Kevin McHale and Robert Parish, two hall of fame bigs.
Neither McHale or Chief was a Celtic during Bird's rookie year. You know....the year the Celtics won 61 games....32 more wins than the season before.

Drexler won his ONE and ONLY ring with Hakeem in the middle.
Drexler is not even close to a top ten player so his case doesn't really matter. But he did have 2 finals appearance as a Blazer.

Jerry West won his ONE and ONLY ring with Wilt at center, yet some still rank him above Kobe.
No one has West over Kobe in all-time rankings. Some have him as a greater Laker due to the influence he had on the game. He's the damn logo for crying out loud. But career resume? Pretty much everyone has Kobe over him.

Jordan never had a "dominant" big, but he won his last 3 rings with a PF who was as dominant rebounding/defensively as ANY big in the history of the game. Since you wanna talk about how "fortunate" Kobe is to have bigs to rebound his misses.
Probably time for you to sit down now.

In case you don't see it....these examples you gave all had deep playoff runs before their "dominant" big arrived. Kobe on the other hand was exhibiting first round exits during his non "dominant" big man stretch and then Gasol came around and Lakers make 3 straight finals appearance. The direction of causality for Kobe doesn't seem the same here.

I find this thread interesting for the pure fact people were calling Wade old and done at this stage. I agree. He was very fortunate the Heat were setup for success and Bron was playing his best basketball ever. Bosh always slotted nicely into the number 2 role next to LeBron as well - so Wade was able to roam and not be as much of a negative.

Damn yo, and he still uses preseason odds as his go to argument. You would think this would’ve taught him a lesson

I mean... Kobe got hurt. Are you really celebrating a career ending injury? They got swept without him and old Duncan humiliated dwight.

This guy is championing a career ending injury to a great player that happened over a decade ago.

    Can't make this shit up.
