I always thought if you took the best black athletes and they focused on soccer, they'd dominate.

That's not even remotely true.

Soccer requires so much more than physical talent.

Discipline, teamwork, patience, and a high IQ are the only way to succeed at a high level in this sport.

After her practice, we stayed to watch a highly competitive select team of teenagers play a game; they were f ucking insanely good. The constant passing and teamwork was beautiful. They were dropping 40 yard passes on the dime.

I'm going to venture more into this sport and now I realize why it's the most popular worldwide.
