Default Is it worth messing around with cableTV

descrambler, box chips, or whatever shade still?

I had a friend back in the day that used to be able to do something with the chip in the box so i got all channels, he sold to people for about $130~?

i bought and i think ordered a descrambler a long time ago but this was a long ass time ago and it worked pretty good. thats to get HBO, SHO, etcf.

I lost it when roommates split and haven't tried using one since then, or for
HD cable, just paying for everything these days.

Is anyone messing with this shady stuff? I feel the cable companies are raping me... is it working?, and what about to get HDCable service? At the least getting pay channels for free in some way(HBO,SHO, etc) even if i have to pay for basic cable? Not talking about torrent stuff either, for TV service.

PS UNRELATED: Can someone give me a good online ordering site for running shoes with nice Nike/size selection and really good pricing?(at least better than Amazon shoe size Zappos).

i think it's safe to say the days of cable black boxes are long gone. No more analog feeds.

    people torrent their shows now.
