    Speaking of Memphis, didn't they completley tank it in during 2011, so they would end up playing the Spurs in the first round, cause the Spurs were a barley averge defensive team that year.

    Pretty sure the Sixers did this 2 years ago to avoid a matchup with the Heat.

    Dallas in 2007.. turned out to be a great idea.
    Popovich did the same in 2010 in order to play the Mavs. Which actually worked. Popovich = genius.

    Not NBA but Spain purposely lost to Brazil in the 2012 Olympics so they wouldn't be against the US and settle for a bronze at best.
