You are in denial. Everyone is dogging Carmelo. Everyone knew he ran like a sissy. He threw one punch and didn't even wait for that rookie to get back up, he just started running like a little punk.
He had three different guys coming at him, but one was being held back by his teammates. The other one felt sorry for him and backed off. The other one try to get there, but Carmelo hid behind his teammates.

Once you throw a punch you take responsibility for what happens. If you are gonna run dont throw punches to begin with.
Ive yet to see the thing from very start to end but ive seen him throw a punch and run to halfcourt. If it was indeed the first punch thrown...no excuse for running. Not like his life was at risk and he was running from a steam roller.
He punched a guy then ran when the guys friends came to his defense.
No excuses.
Now if it wasnt the first punch my mind changes. If it went to the way I saw it....thats weak. Man enough to swing be man enough to stand your ground when that punch gets you in trouble.

I don't have to get in a fight to know about fighting you freakin prick. I witnessed fights at my school many times. One thing is, if you punch someone, you take responsibility for what happens. I'm glad Melo had the "brains" to run like that, but he just lost all his pride and dignity by doing so which is really sad. He threw the punch, and he didn't take responsibility. Dude ran scared. No one is going to kill him, so he might as well just stay there.
