Mark Caguioa is definitely the best player in the Philippines. He had a real good showing at the Carson Camp and also did real well INDUVIDUALLY in the Asian Basketball Championship in Iran. He had several games over 20 points plus 25 points in the win over Lebanon. He was the best the Philippines had to offer. He would have to play the point position in the NBA, NBDL or Europe. Comparatively Speaking I would compare him to Mike Bibby. I think he can play and do well in a more competitive league if giving the opportunity.

[B][COLOR="Red"]Now it can be told. Mark Caguioa, who stood out among the Nationals in the recent Champions Cup, was offered about P10 million to play for a local club team in Iran for a season spread over eight months

Mark Caguioa (188-G-79) (24), Dondon Hontiveros (22) and Danny Seigle (20) delivered the points, but recent addition KG Canaleta, flew in to replace an injured Tony dela Cruz, provided the highlight slam dunks.

Have you see Mark Caguioa play in person he is better than you expected. The guy is one of the best Pure Pinoy Player in the NBA. He might be small art 5'10- 5'11 but definitely an NBA Material with his tallent and overall skills.

At this point he is the best player FULL BLOODED PINOY regardless of where he was raised. Just ask the National team and he is the most consistant player. He put up numbers against ABA teams, NCAA Div 1 teams, and Serbian Clubs teams. If you don't belive other wise just look up his stats.

His is fearless and he represents his culture. To me he is the best Filipino in the world with Willie Miller being close to second. Don't forget Willie Miller is born and raised in Olongapo City, speaks fluent Tagalog and never been to the U.S.

Mark Caguioa should look into to trying to get into an NBA training camp or Euroleague. I KNOW he play in the Euroleague for sure. ZhiZhi Wang from China should try for Euroleague also if he doesn't come back to the NBA.
