Who's been the 4th best rookie?
Everyone's been talking bout the 3 bigs.
Who's 4th?
Winslow?
Mudiay?
Russell?
There's a bunch in this tier imo

I like Winslow, but I'm gonna give it to Mudiay.
He's playing like shit right now, but you know he's going down gunning and not shying away from the moment. He's had a couple decent game where he's just taking over, I've seen none of that from Russell yet.

Russell?
I say Mudiay, then Winslow.

Russell
2 APG as a PG along with feet made of fvcking plumb isn't enough to make you 4th best Rookie.
Top 3 are obvious, after that it's dark.
Mudiay is averaging 12.9 ppg on 14.4 FGAs (32.8%), his FG% is worse than Kobes (33.1%)

Russell and really when you consider both side of the ball, he's been better than Okafor

Okafor's been better on defence than expected, he's averaging 1.6 bpg and has actually had a presence against drives. He's not great one on one yet but he's still MUCH better defensively than Russell who's been a liability at times.
What about somone like bjelica? Not putting up big stats but he's been more efficient and fills his role nicely. TJ Mcconnell is in the same boat. Those guys won't be better long term but they've been efficient for rookie if we are ranking just based on play this year.

Great college starter
Re: Who's been the 4th best rookie?
I'll be a homer and say Winslow. His energy and defense off the bench have been a catalyst for multiple wins imo. His numbers aren't great but he's undeniably impactful when he's on the court.

Re: Who's been the 4th best rookie?
Winslow has been nothing more than a role player and mostly defensive specialist, but he's my #4 rookie. He's played well enough to earn fourth quarter minutes consistently.
He does play mins alongside good players, but if he wasn't contributing positively enough, he'd have his mins cut imo.
Mudiay has much more responsibility and he's struggled with TOs and his shot, which we pretty much all expected. He can be a better player than Winslow long term, though. I have him as my #5 rookie.

Is it in you?
Re: Who's been the 4th best rookie?
In terms of being NBA ready I'd say Stanley Johnson. If Reggie Jackson wasn't such a ball hog and learned to distribute in the half court rather than playing a 2 man game with Drummond he might be a legitimate star in the making

While he hasn't had the requisite playing time to yield recognition for it, Bobby Portis may deserve to be etched in this discussion as well. Sadly, due to the front-court depth of the Bulls and how close-fought most of their games have been so far, the Bulls' rookie draftee has been played sparingly; however, with more rotational emphasis invested in him down the stretch, I'd be hard-pressed to doubt his chances of vaulting into the top-5 standings out of all rookies and potentially becoming a RoY (Rookie of the Year) sneaker
