MJ with 0 all-stars and 0 all-nba players = 1-9

LeBron with 0 all-stars and 0 all-nba players = Championship beating a 73 win team down 3-1 leading both teams in every stat

Why the difference?

When MJ went 1-9 who was his 2nd option that averaged 28ppg on 48% in a playoff series and the title winning shot in the do or die game?

I am interested in your input.

Using Lebron Stan logic, Eli Manning is a top 5 QB since he beat an 18-0 team in the Super Bowl. Tom Brady never beat an 18-0 team so therefore he can't be GOAT.

Jordan led a 72-win team. LeBron has never been on a 67-win team.

While I give kudos to LeBron for beating the 73-win Warriors it wasn't even that decisive a win. It went 7 games, things off the court may have affected the outcome, and Kyrie deserved FMVP consideration. The Warriors also beat LeBron the year before, the year after, and the year after that. It's certainly not the same as LeBron's ownership of the 60-win Hawks or the Raptors.

This. Although Eli doesn't have the stats that Lebron does, but still, beating an unbeatable team? Unheard of. Only Eli things

I haven't seen a legit case made tbh

Jordan has LeBron beat in stats depending on what you look at, rings, mvps, finals mvps, scoring titles, dpoys, defensive teams etc. Basically the numbers that actually matter. Plus, MJ helped build his teams organically by growing with them. Pippen and especially Horace Grant have made that pretty clear (shame we don't have recorded footage of Bulls' practices - they sound legendary).

Of course there's also KAJ who, along with Wilt, hold a ton of NBA records. Difference being that KAJ won more.

MJ has better accomplishments, but I suppose accomplishments are subjective

But you know what isn't subjective?. failures and horrible performance/underperformance.

Essentially, any top 10 player has great accomplishment, so we should be looking at their failures to determine goat.. and Lebron has way more failures/underperformances - he lost as the favorite numerous times and played horrible or underperformed in 07 Finals, 11 Finals, 08 ecsf, 13' Finals, and lost by record amount in 14' and 18'.. - lebron's lows are lower than jordan's

Easily the GOAT floor raiser ( can literally turn a team of scrubs into title contenders)

GOAT athlete

Played in a tougher era with a bigger pool of top talent compared to MJ and Kareem
Too add a lot of the all time greats has LeBron as the GOAT as well ( Oscar,Cousy,Thomas)

Opinions from the best to play the game should hold some weight right?
So if all these players and coaches are saying that LeBron deserves to be in the GOAT discussion it should mean something then.

To say that LeBron has zero GOAT argument in 2018 is ridiculous.
