Attention Lin fans. Please stop making retarded threads which will only end up making people hate Lin. He's still likable and I'd love to see it continue.

Very good NBA starter

although i agree, if you were really a fan of Lin, then you wouldn't let "stans" affect your view on the actual player...
i swear some ppl are sheep. Hating a player not because of the player but his following.

It really has little to do with 'hating' the actual player and more to do with hoping he fails so that his fans will shut the f#ck up. It is a perfectly natural reaction.

like I said...if the following of a player you "like" or are a fan of makes you wish to see that player fail, regardless of your justification of it, then you werent really a fan of the player then, were you?
"Natural reaction" or not it is what it is.

Re: Lin 1 Irving 0
Irving: 19 years old.
Lin: 23 years old
And don't give me the BS the 'Lin is a rookie too', Lin has had much more experience playing for the Warriors, playing for the D- League and playing 4 years of college. Irving barely played 10 games in college.
And of course the Knicks are gunna win just compare the teams:
Cavs lineup: Erden, Jamison, Casspi, Parker, Irving
Knicks Lineup: Chandler, Amare, Melo, Fields, Lin. Not to mention JR Smith, Baron, and Novak off the bench.
The lineup says it all. Lin has 2 other all stars and one of the best centers in the league to draw attention off him. On the other hand Irving has.... ? *crickets *crickets.
Btw Irving is better then Lin in all aspects of the game except passing(debatable). Irving has the potential to be a superstar point guard while Lin is a good player, maybe he'll make a few all star teams but his potential is nowhere near Irving's. It's obvious to anyone who has watched both players.
These Lin stans are getting as bad as the Kobe and LeBron stans.

lol...Chandler is great and all, defensive-oriented game changer at the center position but lets not exaggerate. If he is one of the best centers in the league, its because this era lacks quality big-men.
As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure it was popular opinion among this very board that he was in fact "Magikarp"???
lol...the discrediting of Lin continues...
Sure, Irving looks more promising considering he's unbelievably only 19 years old (I also think he will be a superstar PG in the mold of a CP3) but lets stop the discrediting...
its ridiculous
before Lin came onto the scene, that same team you just praised for having 2 all-stars and one of the best centers in the game was far below .500 and losing to also struggling teams.
And about 5 of the wins with the kid handling the rock happened w/ both of those all-stars out.
