The Lakers have had 2 #2 picks in NBA History.

The first one in 1960 we used to draft Jerry West.

The second one in 1975 we used to draft Dave Meyers who we immediately traded to the Bucks for guess who... Kareem Abdul Jabbar.

So the LAKERS have a history of making franchise changing decisions with the 2nd overall pick. History is on our side.

Good history. I usually don't pay attention to draft but this is the only year where I can say we have a great chance of drafting a possible franchise player as long as I have been following the Lakers. Laker haters does not like that feeling
