Is LeBron to Chicago what The Bad Boys were to Jordan?
Time and and time again, we've seen LeBron eliminate Chicago in the postseason, and time and time again, we've thought it was the Bulls' year to get through.
Does this rival what the Pistons were to MJ, in the sense that Jordan, countless tries, couldn't get past Detroit when they were in their prime?
If healthy, do the Bulls finally get past The King?

Nah, the Bad Boys are known for all-time level defense and the Jordan Rules, which were every-possession double-teams on MJ.
Otoh, Lebron's defense the last few years has dropped off and the Bulls never need to double-team him.. He shot 39% against Chicago in the 2015 playoffs.
So most of the dynamic that existed between MJ and the Bad Boys aren't there with Lebron and CHI.

The Celtics to Lebron were what the Pistons were to MJ

Re: Is LeBron to Chicago what The Bad Boys were to Jordan?
Ummmm, you can make this analogy between any up-and-coming team that couldn't get past a certain opponent. In Chicago's defense, of the 4 times they've met LeBron in the playoffs - 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2015 - they were only favored to win once (2011). And really, in all 4 meetings, LeBron had the more talented team. Well, with Love/Kyrie out, maybe not 2015 so much.
LeBron's "Detroit" was definitely Boston. They were the loaded, defensive powerhouse constantly beating up on LeBron's 1-man show.
During their final regular-season road trip to Miami, which turned out to be a surprisingly easy win for the Celtics, they spent the last two minutes busting Wade’s balls about LeBron. You picked the wrong guy. You’ll never win with that guy. LeBron could hear everything. They didn’t care. In Game 5 of their playoff series, Garnett and Pierce pushed things a little further, believing that LeBron was ready to cave again. Down the stretch, Garnett muttered derisive obscenities under his breath anytime LeBron was in earshot, then stuffed him at the rim on a pivotal drive. A little bit later, Pierce nailed a back-breaking 3 right in LeBron’s mug, then yelled, “I have the balls to take that!” as he trotted back down the floor.
In retrospect, they pushed him too far. The Celtics regarded LeBron with a surprising amount of disdain — that’s why Rondo angrily yelped, “Let’s go!” before defending LeBron’s final drive of regulation in Game 2. LeBron ended up settling for a 21-footer against someone seven inches shorter than him, followed by Rondo strutting back to the huddle and probably telling his teammates, “I knew he didn’t have the balls to come at me.” They spent that whole series challenging his manhood; by the end of Game 5, they thought they had broken him. Was that what turned him into a serial killer in Game 6? Not entirely … but it definitely helped. I just don’t think LeBron makes LeLeap without the bullies from Boston.
Pretty rich of the Celtics to be yapping in 2012 after Miami busted their ass in 5 games in 2011.

Those Bulls were ready to win titles.
These Bulls aren't winning shiit.

Playoff Rondo
Re: Is LeBron to Chicago what The Bad Boys were to Jordan?
Yeah I don't get this comparison at all. The Bulls have been nothing but injured second round fodder for LeBron sans 2011.

Down with GLOBALISM
Re: Is LeBron to Chicago what The Bad Boys were to Jordan?
apart from the 2010 matchup, was there a year where the Bulls were legit healthy?
As in, someone key in the team wasn't hobbling or not playing?
That has a lot to do with it. Particularly the way the Bulls play

I still can't believe LeBron beat a fully healthy Bulls by himself last year
No Love, hobbled kyrie still won
