There are, just fewer. But it's more to do with changes in coaching, dilution of talent, and poor fundamentals being taught at early ages.

    Right...

    Poor fundamentals. That's the cause.

    Kareem '77 or Wilt '67

'93 Barkley's extremely close to #1 at PF.

1988 was not Bird's peak, that wasn't even his prime anymore.. stat watcher detected

Lmao Bird has 0 argument over LeBron, absolutely 0

Stats, efficiency, advanced stats, impact, and most importantly, the eye test all favor LeBron

'09 LeBron was better than '13.

And Zero Votes Curry over Magic Johnson.

I'll tell you what he didn't have Bird beat in, and that's toughness and clutch. Your also wrong about the eye test thing. I take Bird everyday of the week. I have never seen a player who can average 10 points in the fourth quarter of a playoff game, but then in the last 3 mins with the game on the line he makes 2 turnovers and throws up a brick. LeBron does that a lot in the playoffs and its just something in his makeup that I don't understand. That is why he will never be on the same level as MJ, Bird and Magic.

Everyone has a bad game once in a while. Lebron chokes like I said more than any player ever in clutch situations.

Poor fundamentals? THAT'S why there are fewer 30 ppg scorers?

Of all the myriad of excuses you could have come up with, that's what you settled on?

    1 That's not all I said
2 There's a long thread on the first page about how Kevin Love can't post up after all these years, which is a clear example of what I was speaking of.

So one player not being able to post up (which isn't even true) proves players today lack fundamentals?

I never said there was a complete lack of fundamentals. I said it was being poorly taught at the development level of basketball (AAU and college), which is true.
