I would think how to handle double teams would be a part of this process. Not a good look and pretty much why oldheads say some of today's players have been coddled into thinking they're better than they really are because of weak ass defense. i think booker knows how to deal with doubles granted not very well lol. tbf these runs are kind of a time to develop some moves and expand your range. watched a few and it's obvious guys like thomas bryant and derozan want to work on their 3 because they're taking a bunch

Yeah but,doesn't matter if he expands his range to 40 feet if his ability to handle doubles in high pressure situations is subpar. Really it's more about the mentality displayed than anything. Some players would take that situation as an 'oh yeah? watch this!'' the next time that happened. He took it and bitched about it.

Maybe you guys didn't see the full video where Book was tearing these dudes apart left and right, but enjoy these highlights. And maybe these dudes should be working on their 1-on-1 defense instead of corny doubles in an open gym lmao. Obviously they can't guard him so they have to double, that's the sad part.

And Book handles double teams just fine, he's only had to deal with being one of the most double teamed players in the league every season he's been in the league since he's been surrounded by G-leaguers, washed up scrubs, and guys who aren't even in the league.

Not bad for a dude who could still be a half a decade away from entering his prime. But no, the keyboard warriors know best as usual. Never seen so many people hate on a 22 year old player over meaningless bullsh*t in my life. Book really does attract the haters for some reason.
