I still ranked him as the best NBA player and said he was one day going to end up as a top 10 player ever even though I despised him. I mean you can hate on Harden all you want, but that shouldn't discredit that fact that he's a good player.
Not telling him ist wrong, just saying thats the one thing that stuck out for me.. It's cool, all friendly talk.

Harden is a net NEGATIVE in the Playoffs, really not that much of a reach

Dude had like one of the all-time worst PER's ever lmfao

You can't just judge a player off of his playoff performance

Yeah, he was absolutely horrible in the playoffs. In the regular season, however, he was a top 8-10 player easily. And his PER in the playoffs was 18.3. It dropped compared to his regular season PER (23.5), but its far from being one of worst ones ever.

That's new to me.. I specifically remember a stat that showed his incredibly negative his and Hibbert's Play was..

Right now the only thing I can find is that he had a historically low fg% for Players with 22+ FGA's...

Was making 8 shots a game, and missing 14 a game...

Damn, Kobe would be proud lmfao chill

Totally fair bro. It felt odd putting Blake so low. I'd actually switch Blake with LMA... so it'd look like

AD (his true breakout year imo)
Blake
Dirk
LMA
Love

Yea I can dig that

Also, it's true, I should have Ellis in my top 5.. Possibly even at 3.

I'd bump Lance and Beal. I think Ellis will be better than them for the next 1-2 seasons.

I think Ellis is right there with Klay and DeRozan. It also depends on whether Wade and Kobe are healthy. If they are, then I got Harden/Wade/Kobe at 1-3 with Ellis/Klay/DeMar at 4-6. All interchangeable.

I think maybe a few of us are a little skeptical about the new Ellis. If he keeps it up, and keeps growing for another year I''d have no issue putting him ahead of Derozen.

I guess.. But I think he can keep his form up.. That wasn't no fluke last year.

Looking Forward to it!

Using all selections so far from each poster, I used a 5,4,3,2,1 point format for the rankings. Gave 1) ranking the highest points (5) and the lowest ranking 5) only 1 point. If a player wasn't ranked, no points. Also, 1a) and 1b), I kept it the same and awarded 5 points to 1a) and 4 points to 1b). Hope my math wasn't wrong, but it should be more or less the accurate.

Point Guards:
1) Russell Westbrook - 64
2) Chris Paul - 63
3) Steph Curry - 40
4) Derrick Rose - 19
5) John Wall - 9

Shooting Guards:
1) James Harden - 55
2) Dwyane Wade - 38
3) Kobe Bryant - 36
4) DeMar DeRozan - 31
5) Klay Thompson - 30

Small Forwards:
1) LeBron James - 70
2) Kevin Durant - 56
3) Carmelo Anthony - 39
4) Kawhi Leonard - 28
5) Chandler Parsons - 7

Power Forwards:
1) Anthony Davis - 63
2) Blake Griffin - 57
3) LaMarcus Aldridge - 42
4) Kevin Love - 35
5) Dirk Nowitzki - 16

Centers:
1) Dwight Howard - 67
2) DeMarcus Cousins - 52
3) Joakim Noah - 50
4) Marc Gasol - 25
5) Andre Drummond - 13
