Why James Harden is the Most VALUABLE Player
Stephen Curry will most likely win the MVP since he's the best player on the Warriors and they're currently the best team in the league, but if we're talking about total VALUE then I think Harden beats him that category. Remember in the offseason when pretty much everyone said Houston is going to be ****ed without Lin, Asik, and Parsons? Or how we'd be lucky to make the playoffs? I remember a time where a couple posters said this team needed to be fully healthy for us to be even lucky to win 50. Well guess what... Rockets are 50-23 right now with 9 games left. .5 games behind the 2nd seed, Memphis Grizzlies.
The leader of the Rockets is obviously James Harden. He's the heart and soul of the team. Without him, we'd be average at best. With the amount of success he's had leading the Rockets is extremely remarkable and downright amazing considering how many games the key guys on the team have missed. This picture should tell it all:
If I told you that these guys would miss that many games before the season started, you'd most likely tell me the Rockets would be gunning for that 1st pick. Curry can have his MVP, but imo Harden is the real Most VALUABLE Player. Just what I feel.

Yup Harden is the 11 Rose of this season............Dirk, Dwight and KD were stronger candidates maybe Wade too.
No true hoop head takes Harden seriously as a top 5 player this season, only the casuals do and the playoffs will show like it did with Rose

Still got the win, and made the key block (yes a block) to save the game.

So you're saying there are FOUR canditates stronger than Harden this season? You didn't even include LeBron in that list. He was clearly one of the top candidates that year, like him or not. Also, I don't think Harden is the 2011 Rose of this season. I think Curry is, since he's most likely going to be the one who wins MVP. Harden might be this season's '11 Dwight or LeBron.

Re: Why James Harden is the Most VALUABLE Player
Harden isn't the best player but he's pretty clearly Mvp. Curry's team is just so much better than what Harden worked with this season, and yet he's still a 2nd seed at the moment.
