Suppose we use the logic that most rings defines who's the GOAT and we list only legit all-time HOF greats. We thus have a greatest ever list that consists of the following:
1. Bill Russell - 11 rings
2. Sam Jones - 10 rings
3. John Havlicek - 8 rings
4. Michael Jordan - 6 rings
5. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar - 6 rings
6. Scottie Pippen - 6 rings
7. Bob Cousy - 6 rings
8. Magic Johnson - 5 rings
9. Kobe Bryant - 5 rings
10. Tim Duncan - 5 rings
11. George Mikan - 5 rings
12. Robert Parish - 4 rings
13. Shaq - 4 rings
And then finally coming in at 14... LeBron James with only 3 rings. Same as Larry Bird. Who I'd take over LeBron any day.
But since we like to include guys like Robert Horry in the list, then LeBron doesn't show up at all on the list until #28:

Have a nice day!
