He lost as a 1st option in the 2004 Finals, even though he had a 26/12 Shaq

He missed the playoffs in his prime in 2005

He kept losing from 2006-2008, multiple times in the first round

He missed the playoffs from 2013-2016 even though he had Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol

He got swept in 2011 even though he had Home Court Advantage
