Default Would Derrick Rose and Zach LaVine be the most exciting backcourt in the league?

Maybe not, but certainly the most exciting to watch. Hope DRose signs for the Bulls. Rose, Lavine, Porter, Markannen and Lopez is a lineup that should be able to get you in the playoffs with guys like Dunn and Carter coming off the bench.

He'll no not even close. They'd be miles behind Steph and Klay.

Imagine legitimately thinking Rose & Lavine is even remotely close as a backcourt to Curry & Klay

They would be closer to the worst backcourt in the league than the best.

With MVP era Rose? They could challenge. Only contenders are Stephanie / Autistic Klay and Dame / McCollum. Derrick would be the second best defender in the entire lot.

Ok Steph and Klay are great but I would rather watch the slash brothers than the splash brothers aka 3pt chuckers ;)

Pretty befitting titles. The contrast in styles would be interesting. If more perimeter physicality was allowed like in the past ... Rose and Lavine would fair better.

Not really. He only said "Maybe not" when starting with "Absolutely laughable" would have been the correct answer.
