Default The Spurs were probably the best team in the NBA

They were certainly the only team that had a chance vs Golden State. Now the title is Golden States.

Got unlucky against the Clippers. Most of those games came down to one or two possession differences that could have gone either way. Ex. The terrible foul on Duncan that have Chris PAul free throws for one. Or Chris Paul making miracle bank shots a couple feet behind the line...just one of these things changes and it's over.

This is one of the rare occassions in the NBA where the better team actually lost a series.

The Clippers arn't going anywhere since they relied so much on chance. And now Chris Paul will be sore as well.

To think the best team in the NBA lost in the first round this year.

I'll always admit when a better team beats us, but in this case it didn't happen.

You basically handed the Warriors the trophy, cheers Clipps

Chris Paul hit so many luck shots especially in that Game 7. The spurs arn't the only losers. So are the fans. We miss out on seeing the best team for the rest of the playoffs.

I am watching the game right now between the Clippers/Rockets and it's just such an inferior brand of basketball compared to the Spurs/Clippers games. Even though its a close game you can just sense the inferiority in the game.

The Clippers just don't play an exciting brand of basketball.
Their fans seem to think they do, but they also think DeAndres dunks are fun to watch. Same dunk over and over again, a 7ft guy putting the ball through the hoop, the same way every time basically.

No they weren't otherwise they would have won. That's sports and to quote the philosopher Domicic Toretto it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Win or go home baby.

To be the best, you've got to beat the best.

There are really not ever mistakes in the NBA. Save for something really crazy the best team always wins a best of 7 series.

So no they were not the best, they never really got into that stride they were in last year. Although I will say I do believe they were the best match-up for Golden State and the Warriors I'm sure are much happier to see the Clippers make it out of that series instead of the Spurs.

What if Blake didn't make that turnover in game 2?

The Spurs fair against the Warriors better than anybody tho.
