I think Butler is a significant cut below Kawhi and even Paul George as a player, but yeah you do wonder how much being on the Spurs in Leonard's place would help them each minimize the gap between them.

Kawhi isn't capable of leading a team with a great offensive and defensive system.
His ppg would be about the same but on much worse effeciency. And he probably wouldn't have won DPOY.

I think it would be exactly as most imagine it. Spurs would be a little worse. Bulls would be a little better and Kawhi would be more celebrated as most solo stars are.

Bulls would have east and makes the nba finals . If Curry was hurt again , Spurs would win finals against Kawhi and the Bulls . Aldridge would named as 2017 Bill Russell Finals MVP .
