Default LeBron stats last five minutes of close games in these finals.

I am disregarding game 4 because the last five minutes the game wasn't close. However in that game Lebron entered the game in the fourth only down ten points and went 0/2 and never scored. That was not the type of effort you expect from a potential GOAT candidate.

In all the other games it has been super close the last five minutes of the game (and overtimes) and LeBron has went 5/25 and scored 28 points. If it wasn't for a very good close out by him in game 3 where he went 2/4 and scored 10 points he has been a disaster.

Game one he goes 1/7 and scored three points

Game two he goes 1/10 in last five mins and overtime and scores 10 points.

Game Four he didn't even score in the fourth.

Game five he was 1/4 scores four points.

Overall he has been great, but in crunch time he has played poorly. When comparing him to GOAT candidates, this matters to me.

did these goat players have mozgov, and smith as the 2nd and 3rd best scorer and delly as the point guard... with a 7 man rotation? did these goat players have to play 42+ minutes and lead the team in points, assist and almost rebounds as well?

seeing points arent the only aspect of the game...can you include assist, turnovers, rebound (def/off), etc.

I did take notice of assists but didn't record them. It wasn't that many. Maybe - 5 total in all games in last five minutes and overtime. He didn't have many turnovers.

The bottom line is these games were there to be had and LeBron has kinda crapped the bed. This series could easily be 3-2 for the Cavs if LeBron had performed well in these deciding moments of games 1 and and 5 (they won game three where he was very good and won game two on the road when he went 1/10)

Fatigue is also a factor, but yeah he hasn't been playing well on the 4th

Lebron is known to fade when the pressure gets high. This is nothing new. You can't teach heart.

His overall 4th qtr appearance sucks...but his elimination games have been pretty great. I would side that with heart, will, drive, and whatever other synonym you'd like to compile

Wekk thanks to Lebron we will never know (other than looking at the Hawks and Bulls series).

How about being more in depth on missed shots by teammates on kick-outs from Lebron drives...it's easy to blanket his end of 4th qtr play but he's been playing for the most part, 1vs5 in these instances. Other than Delly have a good 4th that one game, and Lebron feeding Moz due to his hot hand in game 4, not many to rely on.

He still needs to step up in the 4th, I agree...but if your criteria is under 5mins and 1 player doing the damage, you've already lost the game to me.
