Me neither.
In any case, Chicagoans have no other reason to celebrate considering their other ball clubs so more power to them.
They needed some happiness in their life.

Re: Did Miami celebrate their championship like this?
Miami is full of rich ballers who buy tix to go to the games. You cant judge the fanbase based off the crowd. Same reason why Knicks are always getting booed at home when they play poorly...even before this season it was something that happened regularly when they played bad

**** the Blackhawks...I was at Amalie arena last night for the watchers party here in Tampa, 15,000 people came out to watch the game on the big screens
Ah well...hopefully we make it far next season as well, making it to the finals was a surprise to me tbh.

You gotta very nice team that is composed of mainly youth. All Stevie has to do is lock up Stammer and continue to tinker around the core. The tough defeat should serve as a good learning lesson going forward. They've already made nice strides from last year.
Chicago on the other hand... Unreal

Re: Did Miami celebrate their championship like this?
A few things:
-Miami's population is roughly 400k, Chicago is 3M or so
-What else do Chicagoans have to cheer for? The "cursed" Cubs? The terrible Bears? The "first or second round exit king" Bulls?

Re: Did Miami celebrate their championship like this?
No, becuase Miami is not a sports town.
It's a few distinct groups, none of which frequent sporting events:
1. Broke Haitians
2. Aspiring right wing cubans
3. Old rich jews from NY
The numbers of these two groups (who support sports teams to a degree) are too small to support sports teams in the true sense, like Chi/Bos/NY/Phila/etc:
4. Rednecks from other areas of the south who think they're doing it
5. Bammas from other areas of the south who think they're doing it
In closing, f#@k Miami.
