I'm not sure why the Celtics would want both Allen and Terry. If I was the Celtics, I would make a strong push to get Camby because Camby fixes a lot of what needs to be fix in Boston.

Camby + Allen/Terry is what Boston should be going after, not Allen + Terry.

If we're signing Terry using the MLE, then it wouldn't be a money issue. Would Ray be happy that Jet and Bradley would be taking his minutes? I doubt it.

Happy with it if true. Can be the ball handler when necessary so only need a 3 guard rotation (Rondo/Bradley/Terry). With Green likely to sign, we just need a centre to fill out the rotation. If we could get Hawes this would be a great offseason.

    We're getting Allen as well.

    CT: Camby/ Wilcox/ Stiemsma/ Melo
    PF: Garnett/ Sullinger/ Johnson
    SF: Pierce/ Green/ Joseph
    SG: Allen/ Bradley
    PG: Rondo/ Terry/ Moore

That's a great looking bunch. Moore, Johnson and Melo all on the IR.

Ray Allen or Camby would be morons if they refused Miami. Those guys are the most guaranteed team to go deep in the playoffs and signing with them would actually give you a lot of minutes since they are pretty damn average behind James, Bosh and Wade. Allen's minutes would be off the charts with Miami while Camby would be a starter and a reserve to nobody.

Ray Allen would get like 10-12 minutes playing behind Dwyane Wade. Unless he wants to sit on the bench for 82 games, Clippers, Celtics or Grizzlies are all better options. Oh did I mention, they'd pay more and you wouldn't become a hated player playing for Miami.

Damn, that is a hell of a signing. Arguably the top signing this summer given how lethal it could make Boston's bench.

Are you serious? Miami are a small ball type of team. Allen would be playing a lot of minutes. And if he's consistent with that 3(why wouldn't he be?) Spoelstra will use the shit out of him.

And don't forget, Miami don't want Wade to play as many minutes as he has been.

Hoping for a guard rotation of:

    Rondo/Terry
    Bradley/Allen

Bradley is going to be out basically til December, so Allen can have the starting role for the first few months of the NBA season.

Allen isn't Shane Battier. He can only play one position, SG.
