I think only the first one is american comic style- superheroes art.
The rest were very japanese comic drawing style- they reminded me of the famous series "Slam Dunk"

That's comic book style, not anime.... anime are those cheesy ass girly, overly colorful cartoons from Japan where everyone has massive, shiny as f*ck eyes, and the girls look 11 years old but wear slutty clothes.
