there were only a handful of series where teams tried to go 1v1 with kobe. IE rockets with battier on him.
and as great as battiers defense was (it was pretty damn impressive), kobe burned him all series. ROFLCOPTER

Shaq is harder to stop. His whole peak consisted of being hacked and surrounded by 2-3 guys at all times.

Guarded by some of the worst Centers , ever.
Shaq is forever the most dominant of this era, but he had to worry about one match up a year and that was Tim Duncan.

And David Robinson even though he was on his lest legs at the time and Shaq matched up against Hakeem several times especially that duel in Finals was great.

Shaq, Gasol, Phil Jackson say hi. He had loaded teams and his teams were always the favorites. and he wasn't even the best player on his team for most of his rings.
