How come MJ had a losing playoff record in his first six seasons, and was 1-9 before Pippen and Grant arrived?

How come a prime KAJ, in his first ten seasons, could only get to two Finals, and only won one (and missed the playoffs altogether, twice?)

How come Hakeem, in 18 seasons, only made it to three Finals, and lost in the first round EIGHT times?

How come Bird lost with HCA SEVEN times, and only won three rings with HOF-laden rosters in the decade of the 80's?

How come Shaq was SWEPT SIX times in the playoffs, and nearly EIGHT?

How come Kobe was AWFUL in the vast majority of his Finals?

How come Russell was wiped out by Wilt's Sixers when Wilt FINALLY had an equal supporting cast?
