Lakers are pretty much right where I figured they'd be so can't say I'm surprised or disappointed there...

Denver. I had higher expectations for them and B Shaw.

    rose
rubio ( even though he s one of my fav players)
Lebron ( coasting, out of shape, back spasms, but still putting respectable numbers)
    Brooklyn nets

    Suprises:
Wade s jumper looking pretty good
    R.Allen
    Klay Thompson

Miles Plumlee has been the biggest surprise by far for me. He was an unskilled, extremely athletic role player at Duke and never got off the bench for the Pacers. Now he's showing all sorts of refined footwork in the post and great touch in the paint. He looks like a legit starter in the league and is putting up double-doubles with ease.

Derrick Rose has been the biggest disappointment for me. After all this talk about the return and how he'd added so and so to his game, I didn't expect to see this kind of rustiness.

I'm surprised by how well the Magic are doing, but I expect them to come back down to earth soon.

Also unless Bynum suddenly becomes his 2011 self I don't see Cleveland going anywhere, they just don't look very good.

    Surprised....

Klay Thompson playing great ball on both sides...
Lakers beating the Clippers and Rockets...
    CP3 balling
Though it was against my team Anthony Davis is damn good...
Westbrook back and still quick as f*ck...
Rose showing signs he still got it...
Maybe there is a ***** on the armor of the Heat...
Loving it but I'm surprised that Dwight is still a pre Madonna bitching about his PG's....Houston you have a problem
Pacers 6-0 and my early favs to dethroned the Heat

    Disappointment

Lakers getting blown out the day after their big wins...
Nash still injured might be time to hang them up...
Gasol...was really thinking he could get back to form with more touches....
    Knicks need I say more....
Kobe looking like he will be out for a while...
Looks like the Jazz will win the Wiggins sweep steaks

Phoenix has been the biggest surprise: Plumdog, Marqueef, Bledsoe, Dragic, and even Gerald Green, have been playing great so far.

Biggest disappointment has to be the Lakers, I can't believe how passive Gasol is playing right now. This has to be the worst defensive team in the league.

Kevin Martin is the first to come to mind for me, I've been keeping a close eye on the Timberwolves, and he's been on fire.

Remember Kevin Martin is playing in a system that he excelled in twice before going to Minny. Him and Adelman are very familiar with each other, so it shouldn't be that unexpected.

The guys who've suprised me are

    Charlotte
    Philly
Ny(didnt expect them to start the season this slow)
    Indiana( Great start)

    and of course

Anthony Davis and Michael Carter Williams

    Disappointments:
    • Pau + Nash look 10x worse than last season
    • Lakers blow double digit leads pretty much every night
    • James Harden looks more and more like a ref favorite for whistles. Call him J Whistle.
    • Cavs still look garbage
    • Kobe isn't back yet

Surprised at how well these guys have been playing:

Kevin Love (Would be the MVP right now if the season ended)
    Monta Ellis
    Paul George
    Jeremy Lin
John Wall (building on last season's breakout)
    Klay Thompson
    Eric Bledsoe
    Steve Adams
Nikola Vucevic (Like Wall, building on last season's breakout)

Disappointed in the way these guys have been playing:
Ricky Rubio (Makes Jason Kidd's jumper look like Larry Bird's)
    Carmelo Anthony
    Pau Gasol
    Anthony Bennett (Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad)
