Cleveland is 22-5 with him in his last 27 games.

    Oh stop.

That cowardly nigguh went to the extremes to stack the deck and win as easily as possible. BOTH times. Summer 2010, and 2014. Only this time he disguised it as being a man of the people, and lowering the bar of expectations.

Don't revisionist history LeBron's competitive fire.

After getting put on the brink of elimination against the Spurs last year "It's just basketball, man" ... no former competitor has ever made light of being ready to lose a Finals and feel so Cavalier about it. Pun intended.

Could you picture MJ, Bird, Kobe, Magic, Hakeem, Shaq, Wade or anyone saying that ... EVER?!

Dude wouldn't even meet with your favorite team's GM to give him a heads up he was gone. Riley called him a coward if he were to leave. Just because the future championships didn't seem as much a given. Did he feel the same about his character when he left Cleveland for Miami originally? He must have deep down. Once a cheater, always a cheat.

dude is a phenom, plain and simple. by all objective measures, lebron's been the best player for as long as EIGHT seasons now and counting. i don't think anyone in history could lay claim to that kind of individual, and consecutive greatness.

    2015
    - leads the league in RAPM
    - 2nd in PPG
    - Top 5 in PER

^^ this DESPITE missing a handful of games and playing with injuries.

    Really?

    '88 - MJ
    '89 - MJ
    '90 - MJ
    '91 - MJ
    '92 - MJ
    '93 - MJ
    '96 - MJ
    '97 - MJ
    '98 - MJ

That's 9x times. And he missed the last two years of his prime in 1994, and 1995 to play baseball. It isn't like he wouldn't have been considered the best then either. An argument could probably be made for the 1987 season as well.

technically, those aren't consecutive seasons - BUT not only that, magic was arguably the best player in 88 and shaq in 98 (made a thread on this a few weeks back - many agreed shaq was). 93 is also arguable considering all the heavy lifting hakeem did - that was the beginning of his peak IMO.

    Umm

    LeBron was arguably in 2014
Wade, and Dwight were arguable in 2011
Kobe was arguable in 2010 (after playoffs)
Wade, and Kobe were arguable in 2009

    Then 2006 - 2008 he certainly wasn't definitive.

2006 was Kobe / Nash in reg season, Wade in playoffs
2007 was Dirk / Nash in reg season, Nash / Duncan in playoffs
2008 was Kobe in reg season w/ arguments from Bron, CP3, Kobe in playoffs.

So where are you getting some definitive 8x consecutive seasons he was the best player? Only true non arguments are 2012, and 2013 for LeBron.

MJ had definitive '90, '91, '92, and '96 as best in the game. No arguments for anyone else.

He didn't give up. When a child doesnt do something right, the parents punish him so he doesnt make the same mistake again. Punishing the child =/= giving up on him.

Cavs were making the same mistakes off-season after off-season. They never got Lebron a good team. So, he punished them for it. Now, they learned from their mistake. Lebron is back.

Lebron was better than Kobe from 06-08. All stats prove it even adavance stats show Lebron was superior on defense

Yes, today's NBA is just inferior basketball compared to when Jordan played.

The best player is also a colluder.

What a joke. Thank goodness I was blessed with being a fan of the game when it was a league of alphas and not betas like present day.

Stats alone can lie. Have to watch the games though to understand. Kobe was better ability wise in 2006, and 2007. 2008 LeBron got to his level, neck to neck. In 2009 he surpassed Kobe. Since then it hasn't been a competition.

What does he do better besides ft shooting and mid range? Lebron is better at everything else.
