Actually, Sessions DOES want to be a Laker. He just wants a long term contract.
So for the other two.... who knows?

We need a speedy point guard to space the floor and a big to stay near the basket and put in Kobe's bricks.

Why not just sign Steve Novak and have him play point for LA? It's not like the PG is going to be ball handling any way.

Meh, good riddance. Dude completely fell apart in the playoffs. No room for that ish in Lakerland.

He's a back up for most teams and really only starts for a handful of teams. He probably just wants a long term deal, even if it means he loses a little next year.

    God people here are stupid.

This move is a money move for Ramon. AND THATS IT.

Has nothing to do with "not wanting to play for the lakers" and blah blah blah most of you retards like to spew. It's him trying to land a multi-year contract rather than just his one year. He's hoping LA lands him a fatter contract.

Chances are...he might have shot himself in the foot here.

Dude. That's genius. He could be a spot-up shooter and add some power from the perimeter.

He played his role with Kobe.

Watch his stats increase when/if he leaves LA.

    Exactly.

He will play very well for the next team. It's hard to be a non-shooting PG when you play next to Kobe who takes almost every shot.

Completely agree, although from the statements Buss is making to the public right now, it seems that they do want Sessions back. I see very little chance he leaves LA without them at least dealing him and getting some compensation in return.

Hoping for a Pau for Scola and Lowry/Dragic trade.

Pau is mentally shot he simply isn't producing in the playoffs like he did in the championship years. Which makes him a waste of money. Get him out for someone who can contribute. He also seems to be upset playing further away from the basket.

Scola isn't a too bad of a downgrade. We don't even need Pau's length with Bynum on board. Upgrade in PG will be tremendous.

Then add to the bench with Odom Delonte and others and things will be good again.
