We can't hold evolution of the game against wilt. We don't rate players against what they cannot control, only how good were they relative to their competition during their time and what were they able to accomplish relative to their competition.

Except when they collude to purposefully manipulate their competition (such as having 3 of the top 5 players in the league join one team, even if they are all in the same conference!)

27 career average is impressive but it is still within the normal distribution(3 standard deviations) of the top 200 scorers.

Wilt, like MJ is beyond the confines of normal distribution. 30.1 is outlier, so far above the mean ppg it's a fckin anomaly. Wilt just on another level..sorry. Don't get me started on rebounds.
