Kevin Love Named Eastern Conference Player of the Week
Last time he was named Player of the Week was back in Minnesota in the 2013-14 season.
This past week, Love helped lead the Cavs to an Eastern Conference-best 3-0 record after averaging 30.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals in 29.3 minutes. He also shot .553 (26-47) from the field, .655 (19-29) from the three-point line, and a perfect 21-21 from the free throw line. Among Eastern Conference leaders, Love ranked first in points per game (30.7), first in three-pointers made (19), first in free throws made (21), first in free throw percentage first (1.000, minimum 10 FTA), first in three-point percentage (.655, minimum 10 3FGA) and first in plus/minus (+68). He also tied for 10th in the conference in rebounds per game (9.7).

The best thing LeBron can do to lengthen his career is to take one step back and let Love and Kyrie do most of the scoring load. So far it's worked out pretty well.

Much deserved.
Kevin has been awesome this year. And on both sides of the ball, too. He is turning into a complete player.
Now, it's Ky's turn to get a player of the week.

Would average a player of the week every game if LeBust didn't hold him back.

LeBron is the main reason he's doing so well right now. Most of Love's threes he's made this season is off of LeBron setting him up and finding him. Also it's worthy to note that I don't believe Kevin Love has won a game as a Cavalier when LeBron didn't play.

It's pretty clear that Kyrie is Batman. LeBron is Robin and Love is Alfred. I'm not sure of the confusion on this?

KLove isn't in competition with Kyrie. He has accepted his role as third option and that's one of the reasons why it is working so well.
It also doesn't hurt that these guys finally had a whole offseason, training camp and preseason together. That's a first for all three of LeBron, Kyrie and KLove.
I don't think it is a coincidence that the only starter currently playing below his potential is the one who held out until just before the season started. Those sessions before the season officially starts is when a coach and the players really have the time to implement a program and system. The season is too much of a grind to carve out those reps.
