Question Why couldn't Wade/Bosh ever produce the way Kyrie/Love are producing now??

Wade and Bosh were 10 time all stars, while Kyrie/Love are only 3 time all stars, so they should've been better

Or was it because Wade/Bosh weren't elite shooters?

wade wanted to be the 1st option and destroyed the flow of the offense because of his reliance on being on-ball only. Bosh was what he was- a slightly above average forward in the east.

Wade was too much like Lebron, and wasn't an elite shooter like Kyrie, as has been said.

Bosh > Love IMO. Pretty much just as good of a shooter (or close) but better defense, no?

Lebron spoiled them with his greatness and they got lazy. Thankfully Kyrie and Love know that they still have a lot to prove.

I remember Bosh being money from 18 feet or so.

Don't think he took a lot of threes, but remember him making them when he did.

Wade missed 58 reg. season games the last 3yrs those 2 played together. James carried the team during the reg. season and went onto lead the team in MP,points, rebounds and assists the following 3 postseasons.

K.Love shows willingness to bang down low for rebounds, post up and take it to the rack when the time presents itself. Bosh didn't do that in Miami and specified he wouldn't do so.

1)Wade's per 36 stats in 2011 across the board are better than Kyrie's, and that's not taking into account that Lebron wasn't ceding offensively in 2011 like he is now. Wade's scoring dipped as he left his prime. Kyrie is on the crux of entering his in the next year or so.

This is the first year that Lebron (thus far) hasn't led his team in scoring, his lowest scoring( thus far) since his rookie year, and the first time he's had two other teammates averaging over 20( thus far) in a year. He's 32 and 14 seasons in the league. The offense is being re-balanced to allow Lebron to play the facilitator role but still get 23-24 a night. This was predicted before the year started and is bearing out. I expect Lebron's volume to increase during the playoffs but for now, the Cavs are so much better than everyone else in the east that he doesn't have to go all out over 82 games.

    2) Kevin Love is better offensively than Bosh. Stretches the floor better( though Bosh became adept at that but not to the same extent), and a better post game. Was always a better rebounder. His role is now clearly defined in the offensive system compared to the first 2 years. Not hard to figure out.

    /Thread.

If you think 29 years old Lebron lets Wade/Bosh outscore him you don't know the guy.

    Prime Lebron takes those shots.
Saving-himself-for-the-playoff Lebron is content being a Point-forward putting 22/9/9 every night.

2011 Wade averaged 26/6/5/2/1 on 50% from the field on great defense while playing with a Prime Lebron who was gunning for points unlike now.

Exactly. Wade put up 26ppg plus strong numbers in rebounds, assists AND elite defense, and wasn't playing with a Lebron basically conserving himself for the playoffs.
