Without LeBron?

Cavs get swept.

Warriors will sweep the Cavs this year WITH Lebron

At best, it will be one of those 5-0 sweeps, where the Cavs get a token win that means nothing (see 2004 Finals, 2014 Finals, among others)

ok, real answer..

the Warriors have a superior supporting cast than the Cavs.. So they should beat the Cavs without Lebron.

This is similar to various scenarios in previous eras - here's a revealing exchange between Bob Costas, Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas during the 1993 Finals:

Bob Costas: Magic, you were quoted earlier in the week as saying that even though the Bulls are one of the great teams of all time, you believe your Laker teams or the Bird's Celtics could beat these Bulls..

Magic: Well, because we had more weapons.. If you get me in foul trouble and Michael in foul trouble and take us both out, you would see what would happen - we would dominate them.

Costas: What about your Pistons Isiah - could the best of your Pistons teams beat these Bulls?

Isiah: "...when you're talking about this Bulls team, you're really only talking about Michael Jordan.. You can't really say that our team would've beaten them, or Magic's team would've beaten them because no one has really found out a way to stop this guy.. Now sure - if you take Michael away, Magic away, and Isiah away - sure, our teams are better, but the fact is he's still there (he ISN'T being taken away)."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6og_pOVi2w&t=0m17s

As you can see, Isiah felt that Jordan's presence ALONE made up for his inferior cast.. So that's what Lebron needs to do.

no, he doesn't

regardless of his in-the-moment rant that he made immediately after 2016 Finals

30 years makes guys forget, as evidenced by the fact that he said things that were blatantly untrue - i.e. "jordan only had to worry about scoring and didn't have to worry about passing"

... Jordan led the Bulls in APG for most playoff runs, and assisted on the most Bulls' field goals during both 3-peats (see the stats above).. Then there's the 1991 Finals, when he averaged 11.4 APG, more than Lebron ever has at ANY point in his career.. So Isiah was factually incorrect, and if he thought about it for a second, he'd realize that.

Again - 30 years makes guys forget - several guys have said Lebron is the best ever, and then had to go back later and recant after thinking about it.

i doubt he said that.. did you watch the video I posted?

Magic and Isiah said Jordan was the GOAT back in 1993:

Magic: "I think he's the best ever.. he's not only the best basketball player, but he's the greatest athlete that's played any sport" - 1993
