you are a very very stupid person...

we have the right to miami's 2013 pick. so when the lakers record is not as good as maimi's and LA has a higher pick we will swap the picks. LA gets miami's 2013 pick and we get LA's.

who knows what could happen out west... i didn' say the will be 5th or 6th, but they very well could be. one thing is for sure, they will not have a better record then miami.
Lakers will be in a better position to win it all next year rather than thise one. true story.

they very well could be, but draft picks are based on regular season records and i don't see them have an outstanding record.

Exactly. That means the Lakers still retain a 1st round pick, even if its a few spots lower.

so we got one free pick and pick that puts us in a better position then before for a player that we didn't really need and was leaving at the end of the season.

    Great trade for both team.

Agree. But you did make it sound as though the Lakers traded 2 1st round picks for Sessions when they're really only losing just one.

    technically, yes they loose 1

but we pretty much got 2 of the lakers pick (the 2013 one will probly be 23-26 range. and if we kept the heat pick we could have been stuck with a 28-30. sometimes that makes a difference.

At fan bases that value late draft picks, that's why they always suck, while teams like the Lakers dump their trash with a pick that will never pan out for diamonds in the rough

two first round picks for a guy that wasn't signing with cleveland at the end of the season. lakers fans are really stupid.
how stupid are you? they got this year coming year draft but the lakers got rid of 6.2. so thats 12.4 in luxury tax.

The first rounder would cost them atleast 2-3million and in luxury tax they will pay 5mil so thats total of 17million savings.

They also got rid of kapono which is around 2mil of luxury tax.....

The 2nd 1st round is a trade with Miami heat......If lakers have a better record than Heat...Cavs get to keep the pick....so its 28-29th pick...either way

so we got 1 draft pick in one of the deepest drafts in history and another draft pick that will improve our position in the 2013 draft (be honest with yourselve and admit miami will have a better record then LA.

for a guy that we didnt really need and who was not signing back with us. so what, we took in walton and we still have 20 million in cap space for next season.

late draft picks could be used in trades, and who knows who we will up gettin. could be a great role player.

stupid lakers fans don't understand that sessions wasn't staying in cleveland. so, instead of losing him for nothing we got exactly what we wanted. the same trade that was being offered to every other team in the league.

memphis is an up and coming talented team who was without there 2nd or arguably first best player most of the season (3 games behind LA right now)

utah is also a very talented young team that will only improve (4 games behind LA right now)

lakers will be a pretty old team next year.

I'm not sure what the Lakers fans or whoever is boasting about. Sessions wasn't coming back next year for the Cavaliers, he was likely going to go to a contender. So the Cavaliers traded him and did everyone a favor. They got some draft picks, Sessions got to go to a contender and the Lakers got a decent point guard while getting rid of Walton and Kapano (who probably won't be on the Cavaliers roster next season).
