apparently, training camps(learning NBA sets and defenses) and practices and an off season working on the weaknesses learned doing this things doesn't constitute a rookie year. I never new that rookies were guaranteed to play a lot there rookie year... guess those practices against Monta and Steph meant nothing.

I think the real question is...why are these two even being compared?
A 5 year player vs a 2 year player that aren't remotely similar in playing style?

there are a lot of similarities.
although, such things are not necessary for a comparison.

How are they similar other than, both played in the D-league?
One is a converted scoring guard, while the other is more pass first.
Alot? Honestly there are virtually no similarities.

they both have played in the D league.
Both are athletic and have the ability to finish at the rim. This is pretty rare for pgs.
Both are quick and have a good change of pace.
Both have somewhat questionable jumpers...or they were at least questionable in the past.
Both play the pick and roll well.
Both have been handed the keys to run a stacked team.
Both are tasked with navigating an offense that must utilize an elite isolation player.
Both in huge media markets.

So they're similar basically because they have been put in similar situations?
Ok, I'll just pick my player Lin.
